About: Join us for a viewing and discussion of Visible: Out on Television (TV Mini Series). This mini-series explores the history of the American LGBTQ+ movement through its portrayal on television. The series uses archival footage and new interviews to examine how TV has shaped public perception and how the movement has influenced television, covering themes like homophobia, evolving LGBTQ+ characters, and the impact of the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

Fresh Starts is a femme-centered group at the Center, created specifically for those new to transitioning or deep in their journey. It’s a welcoming space to ask questions, access resources, find mentorship, and build community with other trans femmes in the Bay Area. Friendly reminder: This space is exclusively for trans women and femme-identified folks.
