About: Join us for our upcoming Employer Spotlight, this March we have The Miss Major Alexander L. Lee TGIJP Black Trans Cultural Center!
You may have heard of them as TGI Justice Project, or just TGIJP, but their mission remains: The Miss Major Alexander L. Lee TGIJP Black Trans Cultural Center is a team of transgender, gender-variant and intersex people, inside and outside of prisons, jails, detention centers, and other locked facilities creating a united family in the struggle for survival and freedom. We work in collaboration with others to forge a culture of resistance and resilience to strengthen us for the fight against human rights abuses, imprisonment, police violence, racism, poverty, and societal pressures. We seek to create a world rooted in self-determination, freedom of expression, and gender justice.
This event is your chance to learn about exciting job opportunities at TGIJP, hear directly from hiring managers, and ask questions that matter to you.
What to Expect:
Employer Presentation: Two representatives will give a 15-minute presentation, offering insights into what makes their company a great place to work.
Q&A Session: Engage directly with employers during a live Q&A session. This is your opportunity to ask about the hiring process, company culture, and how you can stand out as a candidate.
Networking Opportunity: Meet with potential employers and other job seekers, expanding your professional network and exploring new career possibilities.
