The Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC) is a national, non-profit resource center that provides legal trainings, educational materials, and advocacy to advance immigrant rights. Asian Pacific Islander Legal Outreach is a community-based, social justice organization serving the Asian and Pacific Islander, and other communities of the Greater Bay Area. Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights of the San Francisco Bay Area, founded in 1968, works to advance, protect and promote the legal rights of communities of color, and low-income persons, immigrants, and refugees. Assisted by hundreds of pro bono attorneys, LCCR provides free legal assistance and representation to individuals on civil legal matters through direct services, impact litigation and policy advocacy.

LSC pioneered a unique interdisciplinary approach to legal services, employing teams of attorneys and social workers to comprehensively meet the needs of our clients.
OutServe-Servicemembers Legal Defense Network (SLDN) is a non-partisan, non-profit (501-c-3), legal services, watchdog and policy organization that provides free and direct legal assistance to service members and veterans affected by the repealed "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" law, the current ban on open authentic transgender service and those currently serving who may experience harassment or discrimination.
To promote full access to social services, direct legal services, civic engagement, legalization, freedom of movement, and reunification with family and community, for all immigrants and their families regardless of their immigration status.
ORAM is the only international organization devoted solely to advocating on behalf of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex (LGBTI) refugees fleeing persecution due to sexual orientation or gender identity.
BALIF started the organization that grew to become the now-independent AIDS Legal Referral Panel, which has provided free and low-cost legal assistance to over 50,000 people since it was founded.

Trained, knowledgeable staff will determine the most appropriate referral for you when you call! Also, the Lawyer Referral & Information Service (LRIS) offers legal assistance from insured lawyers who are evaluated for their experience in over 100 legal areas. If you have been injured, the referral and the first thirty-minute consultation with your lawyer are absolutely free. For all other legal issues, you pay only $35 for the referral and first thirty-minute consultation.
