Grace Towers and The Rexy Project Present DragTivism

This event is for youth ages 16-24 and takes place June 19-21.

Event on Thursday, June 21 is OPEN TO ALL.

DragTivism is a Trans and Queer youth mentorship program presented by Grace Towers and the Rexy Project in collaboration with Queens of the Castro and the SF LGBT Center.

DragTivism is a place where transgender and queer youth can navigate and learn about the power of drag.

The three-day course focuses on intentional, intergenerational, and radical forms of drag artistry through mentorship.

The program begins with a kick-off dinner event at the SF LGBT Center where participants will get to hear from the co-creators of this event - Grace Towers and the one-and-only Rexy. Wednesday and Thursday participants will have access to workshops led by drag performers, touching on different aspects of creating impactful drag performances.

The end of the program commences with a celebration, where participants will have the opportunity to showcase their art form.
